September 24, 2005 - 12:42 pm i'm attempting to buy shoes from the US (specifically zappos.com but because i'm international, they need to see a photocopy of my driver's licence and a photocopy of my credit card and it needs to be faxed to them to verify an international order. my credit card does not photocopy very well. which means, faxing a photocopy of it is even worse and no one can read it - thus, no one can verify my credit card and i will never get these shoes that i have been dying to get - shoes that i've been searching for YEARS to find. forget that i don't have a fax. forget that it costs $8 to send a fax to the US from the post office. forget that zappos.com have shredded the fax that i've sent already. forget that it probably won't go through anyway, because my licence has my new address on the BACK and my old address on the front. i am busting balls like i would never do about something important. my priorities are screwed. no wonder i'm exhausted. i never put this much effort into anything anymore. anyway, not sure how i'm going to fix this, but i think it's going to end badly.
