February 24, 2006 - 6:03 pm i'm indulging in stupid behaviour with one of our neighbours. it started because i filled one of the recycling bins with cans/cardboard (the usual stuff) and took it back to the brick section where the bins are kept and put it on the side, as the other garden bins are due to be put next. the next day, i find the recycling bin on our lawn. by process of elimination, i guess who it is and i'm tempted to leave the bin at his front door with a note saying "THANKS!". scott tells me not to do this and he takes the recycling bin back up to the bin area, and slots it in front of the garden bins. when i come home from work, the bin is outside the area (where i originally put it) again. i decide i'm going to talk to the annoying neighbour and ask him if he dumped the bin on our lawn. so today, i ring the doorbell at his property. the door is open, security door closed. i can hear someone moving inside and the tv. movement stops. i ring the doorbell again. nothing. i ring the doorbell again. NOTHING. so i call through the door, "thanks, tool!" nothing. so i'm back inside now, and i'm going to knock on his door every day until he answers. SO BEGINS A PETTY WAR! you better believe i won't rest until i call him a child to his face! this is possibly why i haven't updated, it's the most exciting thing that's happened to me.
