August 05, 2007 - 8:41 am ok, so, second wedding plans still in swing. dress? being made. reception? booked. husband? rolling his eyes at everything. everything else? going along slowly. my main problem at the moment is that the girl that i booked for my make up has gone into hospital with pneumonia, said she could still do it, but has been in hospital for weeks now and i have no idea how long i should wait before i book someone else. i did manage to get my way in one thing. instead of hiring a photographer, i decided (with scott's permission) that i would purchase my new dsrl camera that i have been wanting and drooling over and we would get someone to take pictures on that. so! i have purchased a nikon d80 off the internet and am waiting for it to be delivered. i know lilephyte is possibly the only person who will be excited for me, but that's ok. i can't believe i'm getting such a beautiful camera. wheeee! the camera has alleviated some of my cranky mood. i can't wait to get my hands on it. this week has been lousy, i've had an eye infection because of my contact lenses and now am not allowed to wear my lenses for several weeks. my glasses are not up to date, so i went to get tested yesterday for a new pair. my script has gotten worse - it's about a -6.25 if anyone understands that. basically, i can't see more than 10cm in front of my face before everything gets blurry. for a while i had one contact in and one contact out and an eye patch on my eye. i kept walking into things more than normal. john was the only person that LAUGHED when i said i had an eye patch. everyone else was concerned. dick! now, i'm going to make some banana pancakes. yum.
